You may say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one

Welcome to The Republic of the Imagination. This is not a virtual nation. It actually exists in the hearts and minds of all those who can imagine humans living in peace together. If we can still imagine all the people sharing all the world, then it can still be so despite how the world appears to us at the moment.
Our perception of a fragmented universe, a shattered world, is an illusion. Read John Lennon's lyrics to his song 'Imagine' and ask yourself whether you can indeed imagine such a world. If the answer is 'yes' then it is not only within our capacity, it already exists. We can only imagine states of being 'as one' because there is a memory of having been so once. If it were so once then it must be at all times because oneness is true of time too. We are all citizens of this Republic even if we have forgotten, but we can remember and by declaring our citizenship change the world.

This weblog is the unofficial guide to the Republic; mapping its territory, remembering its laws, and inviting its governance to enter our lives. There are a few who reside entirely within it inviting us to join them and they shall help us chart this pathless land. There are many who guard its boarders with forgetfulness. But deep down we all seek its asylum with a longing that has immense power.
